This is it.
Launch day. Stressful. Exciting. A bit paranoid about all the things I haven’t done. Also proud.
This show, Life With Machines, will release every other week on Tuesdays. Our first episode is with King Willonius, creator of the hit song, “BBL Drizzy.” I’ve known Willonius for about 14 years from our days in comedy, and it’s amazing to see his creativity explode (along with success).
What’s the role of artificial intelligence in all this versus his innate creative, relentless drive and talent? Why Drake? Why not? We go through a lot of shared history from The Onion to Comedy Hack Day and it’s so Black! Please check out the episode!
The preferred platform to engage with the show is my YouTube channel, so please subscribe. We used cameras and I mostly look pretty.
But if you prefer the audio podcast experience, find it wherever you binge your podcasts. If you’re getting this message, you’re more likely an ally than an opponent, so also please leave a rating or review or both! YouTube, Apple, Spotify are the most important algorithmic overlords to serve.
We’ve set up a separate newsletter just for Life With Machines, so if you’re deeply curious about the future of humans and technology and how we maintain the former in the face of the latter, head on over and sign up. We’ll likely be turning on a paywall soon so git!
That’s it.
Have a great day.

Great work. Really enjoyed this conversation. Looking forward to more.
Interested to know if King Willonius was ever able to make money from the track (outside of YouTube revenue) or if the A.I. platforms retrain the rights to all songs created.
I've played around with both but not read the T & C's. All my stuff was soulless and I didn't want to contribute any more to the ever deepening slop pool.
