Thanks you Baratunde. The storefront door is full on white supremacy…, misappropriation, misogynist, and colonialism. Someone should send your photo to American Express and see if they want to keep business customers like this….

Love your new PBS series! Watched each 2x - shared with my mom & brother. So much great info learned and picked up more the second viewing.

Maybe we are related? Perhaps Henry Louis Gates, Jr. will compare our DNA???

Saw your first show. Loved it. Come to Washington State, to the northern Washington coast, to the Quinault and Ho River Rain Forests, The Hall of Mosses, Kalaloch Beach and Ruby Beach, the Makah Indian reservation and the Olympic Mountains. Come and see the treasure of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams and Mt. Baker. Come and see Lake Chelan and Holden Village and the North Cascades and the San Juan Islands and our J-Pod orca whales and the largest octopi in the world under the Narrows Bridge on the Salish Sea. I live pretty close to them. I'm inviting you personally. Claudia Finseth, life-long Washingtonian, freelance writer, Tacoma resident.

Excitement! I also sense the readiness of our best selves to get some good positive action growing out of this peek at the abyss. We shall see how this all plays out, but for the first time in a long while, it seems that our imagination is all that holds us back - in other words, true action is possible! We need to see more clearly and dream more brightly and then we'll wake up out of this urge to dystopia and course-correct in a good way. But it's going to be a bumpy ride! Outcome not guaranteed... thanks for writing. Very much enjoying getting to know your work.

Think for accomplishing environmental justice as part of justice, period, we need to include Indigenous thinking: we are not defending Nature, we are Nature defending itself.
